Sephora Haul #bbloggers

Hi Guys,

If you follow me on Instagram/Twitter you will know I was recently in the US on holidays in Hawaii. You will also know I went a little shopping crazy and racked up a huge bill buying lots of beauty items, but that’s what your meant to do while you’re on holidays right!?! Boy was I gobsmacked when I went to Sephora. I swear you could spend a full day in there and still not have enough time to look and admire all their amazing products, you are definitely be spoiled for choice!

So onto what I picked up a pore cleansing pad by Sephora, one of their brow pencils in light, a small sample size Glam Glow face mask, a Sephora lipstick in Unfaithful and a YSL lipstick in the shade Rose Lingerie. Sephora was also nice enough to through in a body butter sample.

Image

When you look at it it doesn’t really look like much but all of this cost me around $90 US which is over $100 AUD. Mostly of this was taken up by the lipstick which cost me $35 alone and the Glam Glow mask which was about $20.

I haven’t had a chance to use the pore cleansing pad yet but from the website suggests it is “A flexible silicone pad that gently massages the face and helps deliver deeply clean, radiant results.” Check back in a while cause by the reviews from the website this product sounds amazing and I am sure it will be in one of my monthly favourites soon.

Image

I’m not a huge fan of brow pencils so was surprised when I liked the swatch of Sephora’s brow pen in light. Its double sided and come with a brush on the end so you can comb those brows before you fill them in. I have been using this brow pencil nearly every day since I purchased it and I am very impressed.

Image

I can’t even tell you how many people through the YouTube and blogging community I have heard using the Glam Glow face mask so I just had to pick it up while I was in the US. Being a pricey item I opted for the smaller sample size cause I figure if it really does work I can always go back and repurchase it. I don’t want to say too much about this product as I have a review planned soon so just keep your eyes peeled.

Image

This coral coloured lipstick in the shade unfaithful caught my eye and I just had to have it. It was a steal at $12.50 US and although I am yet to use it (as I have so many other lipsticks I need to use up) I am sure this will become a favourite.

Image

And last but certainly not least, my favourite item from the haul, a YSL lipstick in Rose Lingerie. It has been on my beauty wishlist for months so how could I not pick up one of these babies! Being so expensive I wanted to get good use out of this item so I went for a baby pink which is a perfect everyday colour. I have used this multiple times since and love it!

So there you have it my haul from Sephora! I just want to go back already. I will definitely be bringing over more money for shopping next time :)

Until next time..

First impression and mini review: Targets Face Wipes

Hi Guys,

Sorry I have been a bit MIA these past two days, works been cray and I just started back at uni today.

So after uni I went to target and picked up a few things (haul soon) and I got these makeup wipes that were cheap and wanted to do a quick review for you.

I picked up the Target 3-in-1 Facial Wipes and Target eye makeup remover pads.

I don’t hold high expectations for facial wipes in general, especially not ones which are meant to remove eye makeup. Like pfft, it’s hard enough to remove eye makeup with the best face cleansers let alone eye makeup remover pads but wow was I suprised. It literally got all of my mascara off, I was even wearing Benefit’s They’re Real mascara which is know as a hard to remove makeup, so that’s a huge testament to this product. Extremely impressed. In regards to the 3-in-1 face wipes I didn’t see anything extra benefits from what you can expect from a normal face wipe so it’s not a mind boggling product but for $2 it’s a must have.

So there you have it, a quick first impression and review of Targets face wipe range.

February Favourites (1-2-3-4-5) Vol. #1

Hi Guys,

So today I am bringing you my February Favourites and I know February isn’t even over yet but I have come up with something new and I want to share it with you :) I’m going to call it my 1-2-3-4-5 Favourites.

So as the name implies I am going to give you…

1 favourite Scent

2 favourite Lifestyle items

3 favourite Bloggers

4 favourite YouTuber’s

5 favourite Beauty Products

So here goes, as some of you may know I recently went to Hawaii in holidays and while I was over there I picked up some amazing beauty products. So for my favourite scent this month I am choosing my Victoria Secret Incredible perfume mist. This has such a beautiful sweet smell and being a mist its easy to chuck in my handbag and apply during the day at my convenience.

Image

My two favourite lifestyle products for this month is my 24 lipstick container and my brush holder from ikea. These products are just so handy and save me so much time and space. They make my beauty items easy access and this makes it so much easier than rummaging through a box to find the lipstick I want to wear. The brush holder doesn’t hold all the brushes but it does hold the ones I don’t use on a day-to-day basis so when im wanting to do something a little bit tricky this is where I go.

Image

I’m beauty blog obsessed so it was not hard at all picking three amazing beauty blogs for you guys. I have selected Kate from Kflowermaquille, Joanna from Joannaloves and Maria from Amriaa. I have been following these girls on WordPress since I started blogging back in May last year. I would check these pages on a daily/weekly basis as I always love their posts and want to keep updated. If you haven’t already go check them out :)

Like my beauty blogger section, it was not hard at all to pick my favourite YouTuber’s of the month. These are my all-time favourites but next month I will share with you some of the new YouTube accounts I have been loving. I have picked Shannon Harris from Shaaanxo, Lauren Curtis from Lozcurtis, Karissa Pukas from Satnightsalrite and Chloe Morello from Chloe Morello :) These beauty gurus are well known YouTuber’s and I’m sure you know all of them but if you don’t please go check them out :)

And now for what we have been waiting for *drumroll please* my favourite beauty picks for the month! I have picked MAC Saint Germain Lipstick, Benefits Gimme Brow, Butter London Lillibet’s Jubilee, Elf Studio Blush in Peachy Keen and Models Prefer Blush Brush.

Image

I have previously mentioned my love for MAC’s Saint Germain and have done a review previously that you can go check out, I just find it’s the perfect colour for me and really brightens up an outfit. Benefit’s Gimme Brow is a well known product which has a lot of hype about it, I think its cause its just so easy to use and apply. To get the perfect brow can take quite a long time to do if your applying wax and powder so this is for those who just want a quick fix, its as simple as running the mascara-like wand through your brows. Butter London produces such amazing pigmented nail polish and Lillibet’s Jubilee is no exception. I have been loving it this month as its silver colour makes it so wearable as an everyday nail colour. Don’t you just love those beauty products that surprise you?! That’s how I feel about Elf’s blush, it was a surprise for me to fall in love with a blush this quickly. I’m not going to lie I’m not a huge blush fan, I love my golden bronzers, so that’s why it was such a huge shock when I fell inlove with this blush. Its such a beautiful peach colour which looks very natural on the cheeks. Lastly, its my blush brush from Model’s Prefer. I didn’t have high hopes for this brush, the only reason I picked it up was cause its was 40% off at a Priceline sale. I don’t really know much about Model’s Prefer but as it was such a cheap brush and I didn’t have a good blush brush I decided to pick it up. I have been loving this brush and will definitely go back to repurchase more brushes from Model’s Prefer as they quality is great!

So there you have it, my first 1-2-3-4-5 monthly favourites. Let me know if you liked this type of post. I enjoyed sharing not only my beauty product favourites but my favroutite bloggers and YouTuber’s as well.

Until next time..

My current skincare routine

Hi Guys,

So today I am sharing with you my current skincare routine.
When it comes to skincare I generally don’t stray from my beloved products cause when something’s not broke why fix it right? So I have been using these products for at least a year now, and when I’m completely honest that’s how far back it was I decided to take care of my skin which is actually kinda bad but I’m into skincare now so I hopefully haven’t done too much damage to my skin before that! (Eep) I’ve never really had bad skin which is why I never used to do more than use a very basic cleanser in the morning and night. I now use a range of products to really look after my skin so here goes…

20140223-161521.jpg

For an everyday cleanser I like to use Biore’s Pore Unclogging Scrub.I love a cleanser that has scrubbing beads in it as I love the feeling of the beads really getting under my skin and giving it a good clean so this is perfect for me. It’s not harsh so it’s the perfect everyday cleanser.

20140223-161531.jpg

For when I’ve come back from a night out I like to use Michael Todd’s Honey and Oat Gentle Deep Pore Cleanser as I find this is the perfect cleanser for removing heavy makeup. This gem never fails to get rid of the darkest circles of run down mascara under my eyes. It’s such a gentle cleanser as well so it feels beautiful on the skin.
20140223-161539.jpg

For what I can’t 100% get removed with my Michael Todd’s cleanser I like to use Lancôme’s Non Oily Instant Cleanser for sentiment eyes. I simply put a bit of this on a cotton bud and wipe under the eyes. It instantly gets any darkness left under the eyes and leaves me feeling instantly fresher!
20140223-161545.jpg

Lastly, the only moisturizer I have found that doesn’t break me out and leave me oily is Olay’s Day Cream. This moisturizer is a god sent and I probably will never change. It just works, it’s as simple as that!
