Today I will be reviewing a few products from the People for Plants skincare range which were kindly sent to me. Being new to skin care I had this misconceived idea of how my skin was and basically that was as good as it was going to get. WRONG! Believe it or not your skin can get better. My flawed idea that skincare only maintained your skin current condition and assisted with the ageing process was so misconstrued. Using skin care products actually makes your skin better whilst aiding the ageing process. My skin now feels hydrated and my redness in my cheeks has decreased significantly. So today I bring you the range which has opened my eyes completely and whats best about these products is that they are made with certified organic and natural ingredients. Which to be honest never used to be a concern for me, knowing little about skincare, but why wouldn’t you want to use organic products on your face. People for Plants pride their products on being free from parabens, sulphates, artificial colours, synthetic fragrances etc (see the full list here). So let’s jump straight into the review..
Pomegranate, Burdock and Shea Night Cream
If you follow my blog you would have seen this baby in my monthly favourites so I am super excited to review it for you. Prior to using this night cream I was using the Sukin night cream which is amazing but having this product in a tube rather than in a tub had me reaching for the people for plants night cream more often. At night time you are tired and want something which is easy to apply that you can just slap on your face after jumping out of the shower and this product provided me that ease. The pomegranate and vitamin c rich product allows your skin to restore overnight leaving it feeling supple and hydrated in the morning. You can pick yours up for $29.95 here or at your local Priceline.
Kakadu Plum, Calendula and Chamomile Eye Cream
I am sure I am not alone when I say I have very irritable/soft skin around my eyes. This makes me very hesitant to apply any kind of product around my area (even a soft cleanse can send my eyes into a burning/stinging hot mess!). I have applied other branded eye creams before (namely the Estee Lauder one – and had to take it off straight away as it made my eyes water/sting). So you can appreciate why I was reluctant to use any eye creams. However, I mustered up the courage and boy am I glad I did. This product is so soft on the skin and doesn’t irritate my eyes at all. It leaves my under eyes feeling hydrated and awake. If you are like me and struggle to find eye creams that don’t irritate your eye area this product is definitely for you! You can pick yours up for $19.95 here or at your local Priceline.
Argan, Pomegranate and Milk Thistle Face Oil
I use three to four droplets of this baby before I use the night cream almost every night. You’d expect to put this on and feel like a grease ball but that isn’t the case at all, its light in texture and absorbs almost instantly. This paired with the night cream and eye cream is a match made in heaven. This product helps stimulate the production of collagen and helps strength skin cells whilst soothing and nourishing them. As mentioned before a combination of all three of the products has helped my skin feel more hydrated and elastic but most notably reduced the redness in my cheeks by a good 50% at least. You can pick yours up for $29.95 here or at your local Priceline.
I cannot wait to try more products from the People for Plants range. This brand produces reliable, high quality affordable organic skin care. Please support an amazing Aussie brand by checking out their full product range here.
