Two Branded Makeup MOTD Look: Spotlight on Covergirl and MaxFactor

Hi Guys,

I am back from my 6+ weeks travelling yay and hopefully I will be back to a regular blog routine asap! As soon as I get over the jet lag lol!

If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen I created a full makeup look using only Covergirl and MaxFactor products (plus brows and cheeks as I didn’t have any Covergirl or MaxFactor products for these areas). So let’s get into how I created this look..

IMG_3754I started off my priming my face with the MaxFactor FaceFinity all day primer which is an absolutely fantastic primer as its SPF 20 and doesn’t leave my face oily like most primers high in SPF do. I then placed a pea sized amount of the Covergirl’s Ready Set Goregous foundation in 115 into my palm and applied it over my face. My first impressions of this foundation are amazing, its super lightweight in texture but has a light to medium coverage (I will try to get a review up of this foundation ASAP cause y’all need to know about this gem!). I then set my face using the MaxFactor Crème Puff Pressed Powder before using my TooFaced cheek duo for bronze and blush.

Onto the eyes, I first applied the Covergirl Bombshell Shineshadow all over my lid before lining my eyes with the MaxFactor Kohl Pencil in black. I then lined my bottom eye with the MaxFactor Colour Elixr crayon in Hot Chocolate. MaxFactor Masterpiece Glamour Extensions mascara was then used to apply multiple layers to my lashes and oh my goodness this mascara is ace! Usually I don’t warm up to a mascara until at least a month or two as at first mascaras can usually be quite clumpy and hard to apply due to a lot of excess product but this mascara applies beautifully first time around. The wand is fantastic enabling you to apply mascara evenly (another one I will have to do a full review on I think!). I think finished the eye area by applying the ABH dipbrow in blonde to my brows.

Now onto my favourite bit of the look.. the lips. Berry/purple lips are so on trend this winter season so I was super excited to receive these hot new colours. I first applied the Covergirl lipperfection jumbo gloss balm in Plum Twist to line the lips before finishing off the lip look with Covergirl lipperfection lipstick in Entwined.

So that completes the look guys. I absolutely love these new Covergirl and MaxFactor products and think that the berry look is so on trend this season. Would you wear this look?

Until next time..
