OOTD: Finding Old Clothes

Hi Guys,

Isn’t it just amazing when you find old clothes you had hidden at the back of your closet! Its virtually like buying new clothes ’cause you haven’t worn it in so long. This is what happened to me this morning when I found an awesome green shirt I had bought years ago and forgotten about. Its casual friday at work so this is how I styled the top :)

What was hiding at the back of your closet that you’ve just found? And if you haven’t looked recently, go have a sticky beak, you will be amazed what you find!!

OOTD: Racerback Work Wear

Hi Guys,

I picked up this shirt the other day and although its not something I would normally wear to work I thought what the heck! This is how I styled it. Also as I don’t wear much makeup to work I just decided to wear some mascara and my favourite Laguna Bronzer to give me some definition :)

Sisters Graduation Makeup: Smokey eye and nude lip

Hi Guys,

I had the pleasure of doing my little sister’s makeup for her graduation. When she asked me to do her makeup I was mortified. Although I am fairly good as doing my own makeup, I find it absolutely terrifying to do another persons. Its a completely different ball game am I right? Different skin, different shaped eyes etc. So we did a practice run and she was happy with it and gave me the go ahead for the special day and this was the look I created.

I used a full coverage foundation and created a natural smokey eye using the Naked 2 palette. What are your thoughts on the look I created?

Scincare Favourites: Top 5 (quick review)

Hi Lovelies,

These are my top 5 skincare pics.

Image

Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub: I love cleansers where you can feel it really scrub your face. This is perfect for that. It exfoliates and is deep cleansing.

Biore Deap Cleansing Pore Strips: Like most people, the worst black heads can be found on my nose. So I like to use these every now and then to clean my pores. They work a treat!

Innoxa Stretch Marks: I, like most of you probably, have stretch marks. I hate them, but they are a fact of life. This however doesn’t mean I won’t do anything in my power to hide/minimise the scar they leave. So this is what I use :)

Cetaphil Moisturiser: This is that awesome cheap moisturiser that I just love to chuck anywhere when I feel a bit dry, whether it be my legs or my elbows (also my face). This is probably the cheapest/well rounded moisturiser on the market!

Olay Moisturiser (normal skin): Last but not least, my favourite moisturiser. This just works and that’s all I can say! I’ve never had a moisturiser that didn’t make me feel oily and gross before this product and now I have this I don’t think I will ever change!

Also, another beauty must for me is doing face masks. Check out this awesome pic of me and my sis doing one. I grab these off ebay :)

NARS Laguna Bronzer Review

As usual, I’m late to the party (my bad). It was my birthday the other day and as usual I wanted to pick up some makeup. This time however, I splashed out and went for a high end product (after all it was my birthday!), so I got NARS Laguna Bronzer. Shock horror, it’s my first NARS product ever, so I am ecstatic over this purchase!!

Can I just say ‘WOW’, I don’t think any other word could describe it better. This bronzer is just phenomenal, just what I was looking for. It’s the perfect colour for my skin, the formula is amazing and it doesn’t have that tacky/overdone sparkly shine most bronzers do. Its matte with minimal shine and it’s just ‘WOW’! It looks natural on my skin and I can wear as much or as little as I want (toally buildable). I’m not going to lie. It is exy ($55 AUD), but contrary to that, it’s just worth it! It suits my pale skin where most bronzers just look overdone and to be blunt, ORANGE!

This is definitely a purchase that I will never look back and regret buying it. It’s a sizeable bronzer too so I know it will last forever! Now packaging, no words can describe it, it’s just practical and makes perfect sense. Its classy, its black, its NARS (so basically you can’t go wrong).

If I was you ladies and haven’t picked this bad boy up already, save your pennies and do it, I can tell this is going to be my new holy grail makeup product :) 10/10

Australis Velourlips Review: MAL-I-BOO

Australis has an awesome new lip product out at the moment called Velourlips Matte Lip Creams. This product has the best colour payout ever! Its basically a liquid lipstick which leaves a soft matte finish.

There are 5 shades available, PA-REE (nude), NY-CEE (red) and MAL-I-BOO (neon pink), TOK-I-O (purple), RIO-D (coral).
I only bought MAL-I-BOO to test out but I will definitely be going back for more :).

The colour is amazing, its that perfect bright pink lip! I find it makes my teeth look extra white as well. I just love it :)

Being a matte lip product they are a bit dry feeling. But on the flip side the colour is going to stay over there evenly and not slide around your lips. for MAL-I-BOO I applied 2 coats so I did have to build it up to a colour I was happy with but its still wearable with only 1 cost.

In my opinion, they are the perfect night out lip colour as you don’t have to worry that the colour will transfer onto a glass or move around on your lips. The bad thing about that was that I did need to use Lush’s lip scrub to remove the product. So it did get a bit messy in the end, but totally worth it.

Will definately be going back to purchase the rest of the range :)
